At Ukarimu Community Based Organization, we are committed to making a lasting impact in our community through a variety of targeted programs. Each initiative is designed to address specific challenges faced by the vulnerable populations in Kisii County. Here’s an overview of our main programs:

  1. Support the needy children in schools with basic necessities and education materials
  2. Sensitize the community on the importance of educating children up to college level for the economic growth in the society
  3. Providing quality care services to the orphans and vulnerable children through the provision of sustainable income generating activities
  4. Improving the quality of life for the children through the establishment of charity care in the community to support needy children.
  5. Improvement of the welfare of the people through table banking and savings as a way of poverty reduction and sustainability

TARGET AUDIENCE

The organization has broad ideas on the vulnerable children who include orphans and vulnerable children, youths and children from poor family back grounds, women and people with special needs.

As a matter of fact, quite a good number of this people have benefited from the organization in one way or another. Hence we are also working hard to ensure they receive the required package of care and assistance as soon as possible.
